NEWS: DIGITRANS Project Kicks Off with Success!
The DIGITRANS Project has officially started its journey with a highly successful kick-off meeting in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on November 12-13, 2024. Bringing together project partners from 9 countries, the meeting marked the beginning of an ambitious collaboration aimed at empowering SMEs across the Adriatic-Ionian region through advanced digital transformation.
The DIGITRANS Project is dedicated to improving regional policies that support research, technological development, and innovation. By equipping SMEs with digital tools and strategies, the project aims to boost their innovation capabilities and competitiveness.
Highlights of the meeting:
- Partner Introductions & Strategic Planning: Partners reviewed project management, discussed the roadmap for implementation, and solidified their commitment to achieving the project’s goals.
- Lab Visit: Participants toured the Laboratory for Telecommunications at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
- Inspiring Presentations:
- Ms. Emilija Stojmenova Duh shared insights on the Slovenian Digital Strategy 2030.
- Mr. Gregor Spagnolo from the Slovenian Technology Forum discussed cybersecurity threats and the importance of securing digital infrastructures.
This kick-off meeting set a solid foundation for achieving DIGITRANS’s objectives, fostering cross-border cooperation, and advancing digitalization throughout the region.
